the wedding gown & flowers
The *all important* Wedding Gown.
Although I initially had a rough idea of how I wanted my dress to look like, I
kept changing my mind every time I looked at another magazine, another design. I
went from fairy tale ball gowns to slinky dresses back to ball gowns again.
Although it's a once-in-a lifetime thing, I
think I must have driven everyone crazy with my 'quest' for the perfect dress.
In the end, I approached a
designer, Orson Liyu to design both my wedding and evening gowns. Together
with my mom, we went to his shop to discuss about the design and I was really
happy as he took the effort to find out what I liked, what I didn't, whether I
have a dream dress in mind. I even got to try on some dresses! Now I know what
the magazines meant when they said that once you've tried a wedding dress, you
never feel like taking it off ever again.
To everyone's relief...
I
loved his designs and it was the fact that we were both on the same wavelength
that made it so easy for me to make up my mind. I have also decided to ask him
and his sister, Nana, to design the wedding
bouquet and flowers for the rest of the wedding party.
I hope to include some photos of gown fittings
on the website in the near future.
