the groom - Kuan Khian Leng
Khian Leng was born
in February 1976 in Kuala Lumpur. However, he spent most of
his childhood life in Ipoh. As the second and only son in his family, he was
very close to his mother.
In school, he was one of those 'top
students'.....the ones who constantly achieved good results, a prefect and active in sports.
He forged close friendships with many of his friends, especially those who
frequented the Ipoh Swimming Club where he used to go for badminton training.
In 1997, Khian Leng left M'sia for Warwick University
in UK to begin his course as an engineering undergraduate. It was at the
beginning of his third year in Warwick
University that he first met Soo Yin.
Khian Leng graduated among the top three
students of his course with a First Class Honors degree in 1998 and continued to
pursue his Masters in Management Science and Operational Research. Upon completion
of his Masters degree in September 1999, he came back to Malaysia to begin his
working life as a civil engineer.
He often plays badminton among other sports in
his free time. He is very interested in computers and all sorts of electronic
gadgets. He possesses an easy-going nature and his friends describe him as an
independent and mature person....a caring guy with a ready smile and always
willing to lend a helping hand.

Khian Leng has joined Citibank as a Marketing Associate in Systems Project
Management.
