the bride - Teoh Soo Yin
Soo Yin was born
in July 1978 and raised in Kuala Lumpur. As an only child, she is very close to
both her parents. She is very interested in music, and thanks to really great
teachers, she has obtained high qualifications in piano, organ and violin.
As a student, she was well known for her ability in Mathematics (of course,
it definitely helped that her mother is a Maths lecturer!). She performed well
in secondary school and
college and was eventually offered a place in Cambridge University. However, she decided to study Civil Engineering
in Warwick University instead and it was during her first year there that she met Khian
Leng.
She graduated with a First Class Honors degree
in July 2000 and was also among the top three students of the university's
Engineering faculty. She is currently working as a civil engineer in a local
consulting firm....and of course, busy planning for her wedding.
In her free time, she enjoys reading her
beloved romance storybooks and baking. She is a movie lover and enjoys nothing
more than to watch the latest shows together with Khian Leng. People often
describe her as 'happy-go-lucky' and a hopeless romantic.
March '02: Update! Soo Yin has joined Citibank
as a Marketing Associate in MIS Analytics.
